Tip #3: Use a visual timer. Time can bec

Tip #3: Use a visual timer. Time can become your friend rather than your enemy once you learn how to harness it. Use a visual timer for committing yourself to both work and play. Example: That task that seems to burn every ounce of attention energy you have to accomplish and you avoid because of the overwhelming feeling that it goes on forever. You know the one. Set your visual timer for say, 20 min. That is the time you have committed to working in one sitting. When you have been successful for your 20 minutes, give your brain a recharge by rewarding it with something stimulating. Set your visual timer for another 5 minutes. Then commit back to your work for another 20 minutes and so on. The visual timer is a big help by allowing awareness of your time with a quick simple glance. The Time Timer is a great example of a versatile visual timer. http://ow.ly/mwoar
