Too often our experiences with ADHD and social expectations leave us feeling bitter and negative, or helpless and depressed. Getting stuck in these funky funks, while they feel like they just happen to us, is a choice to stay there. A shift in focus, and an intentional shift in attitude can literally change how you view your world. Our brains get addicted to negative thought. Take time out to shift your thinking. You might just surprise yourself with all the good things around you. Today, here in the U.S., we are taking time to celebrate and show gratitude for our independence as a nation, and to be thankful for the freedoms and opportunities we have as individuals.
